RACE COMMENT
CHARGE AHEAD (5) comes into this race fourth up having not had much luck in his first three runs this campaign. He is a horse that generally does his best work when able to get up on speed and can look to do that in this race. LANAI (3) wasn’t beaten far two starts ago over the 2138 at Albion Park in very fast time. He backed that up last start hitting the line well over the 1660 behind Attachment. He draws well in this race and should be able to secure a good run close to the speed.  GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (2) has excellent gate speed and should be able to work to the lead before having options from there. He led last start and was just run down late by Calling Buddy who he takes on again in this race. He steps up in trip but does seemingly race well over the middle distance.  CALLING BUDDY (6) has bounced back to form in recent outings. He ran a good second hitting the line well three starts ago and was able to back that up by winning last start sweeping down the outside to score. He draws wide this time and will likely get a long way back.
