RACE COMMENT
BARNABY (1) is a lightly raced eight-year-old with a very handy record and looks to have the gate speed to hold the front. If he can reproduce his effort from Menangle, including three starts back when running second in fast time, he will take a power of beating. ROCKY STRIDE (3) is a super consistent three-year-old who should again land on speed and be thereabouts in the finish. IAMAHUNTER (2) should enjoy a nice run with cover in what shapes as a genuinely run race. HAY MIKI (4) rises slightly in grade but has been racing well and with the right run on speed, looks one of the main dangers.
