A winner over this trip three starts back, THE LADY DIOR (2) eased from a wide gate before owning superior closing speed to descend on them for victory. Not suited when parked out at her next start, she ran RAKASANDY to 2m last time up the passing lane. This is within reach. KICK THE SWITCH (10) will be first up from a spell for the firing Hewitt stable. Grabbing 3rd behind his smart stablemate YOTTIE in a recent trial here, the gate makes it hard but in a race that should generate some front line tempo, he can trail through early to challenge late. HOT ROD HARRY (3) forced the issue over the mile last time out and tried to fend off the challengers, only to be reeled in by SCRUFFY. Beaten by gate 11 the start prior, he has claims.
