Grabbing silver on debut in a mixed age event, ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (1) took cover and was 2m from the 3YO winner STUNNING STRANGER. With the experience from the debut and with the options off this gate, it can be home grown alligator, see you later. SWEET TIMES (6) started from this same gate last start in a mixed age maiden when eased for position and finishing unplaced as STUNNING STRANGER took victory. A second line gate made it tough in the 2YO Breeders Final the start prior. The gate stings again, but he can challenge. FAN THE FLAME (7) was runner-up on debut when finishing 2m from GENUINE STAR where it was a steady closing quarter. The wide gate makes it a tough ask here. JUST SONNY (2) was strong to the line in the closing stages last start after starting from outside the front line. Buried away the start prior, he can get handy from this gate to be in the mix.
