RACE COMMENT
SPLASHNDASH (1) has very good gate speed and showed that last start to hold the lead early. He ran well just being run down late not beaten far by Imxtraspecial. He looks to have options again in this race and should be hard to beat. BLACKJACK CRIPPA (8) returns from a spell in this race and looks well placed. He has previously been able to win sitting without cover at this track and trip. He has speed and might be suited getting an economical run early. SURPRISE LANDING (4) took on a much stronger race last start at Albion Park and was running on late after racing wide on the track. This looks a good step back in class. KERBANG (7) looks likely to get an ideal run through in the early stages of this race behind a gate speed horse. He has been racing well often forced to do the work in races and may appreciate getting a softer trip in behind them this time.
