RACE COMMENT
OVERVIEW: MISTER JIMARINGLE (10) has won at his past two attempts against similar opposition and is a good chance of completing a hat trick. He worked hard early, gained a trail and finished off strongly to post a mile rate of 1.54.5 at his latest victory. RUBY WINGATE (4) tried to sustain a long run when third behind Keayang Omar at Shepparton last outing. She hasn’t had much luck at her past two attempts and her overall form is sound so she warrants respect. SHAQ (3) has been placed at his past three attempts against similar grade and he performs best when he is close to the speed so he is perfectly drawn to suit his racing pattern. He was aggressively driven and missed out narrowly behind Billys Tiger Khan at Kilmore last outing. MCWIZARD (7) is awkwardly drawn but possesses a powerful finishing burst as evidenced by his victory at Wagga on August 01. He has claims along with MERRYWOOD PAUL (9).
